Insurgent-LS Mountain Bike Frame

Whether we’re building our dream park bike or a mixed-wheel enduro slayer, the Evil Insurgent-LS is a great place to start. With 168mm of rear travel, the Insurgent is built for the downhills, and it takes no prisoners when the trail gets steep and the jumps get bigger. The frame can easily be configured as a mixed-wheel enduro machine or a full 27.5in park bike, depending on our hearts' desire. Evil specifically builds their bikes with categorically short chainstays to keep the fun factor high and ensure that our wheelies and manuals are only limited by our skill, not the bike's geometry. The geometry also features a slacked out headtube angle that is anywhere from 63.5 to 65.3 degrees depending on our wheel choice and flip-chip position, for unreal stability through high speed technical descents.

The Insurgent-LS is governed by the DELTA suspension system which offers a leverage curve that soaks up harsh initial hits and doesn’t bottom out when they keep on coming. It's mated to the RockShox Super Deluxe Coil shock, so we have no lack of confidence pushing our limits and hit bigger drops than ever before. Evil included a few Lightly Salted updates to the Insurgent including trunnion shock spacesers that are integrated into the linkage for easier maintenance and room to for a SRAM Universal Derrailleur Hanger so that a sideways slide into a rock doesn't end our podium quest or multi-week bike park tour. Evil rounds out the Insurgent-LS with a sound-canceling chainstay protector, a downtube protector, and an integrated upper chain guide.
